Sketchy lines but all smiles from the Peak Performance riders.
On 15 February, the Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance headed to Kicking Horse, Canada for the second tour stop. Tricky snow conditions and unexpected obstacles called for creative lines and technical skiing as riders made their way down T1 South.
Following her spectacular debut in Verbier Pro, Manon Loschi dropped in as the 8th rider and put on a phenomenal show with air, tricks, and full control, which resulted in yet another 2nd place finish. With two podium finishes, Manon now sits in 1st place overall and will wear the fire bib in Georgia Pro.
As if one podium finish was not enough, Hedvig Wessel firmly announced her return with a stunning run resulting in 3rd place and her first podium of the year. The fast and fearless run was crowned by an incredible big air moment that she stomped with impressive control. Hedvig sits in 4th overall.
On the men’s side, our Friends also did not disappoint. For a moment it looked like Carl Regnér Eriksson, WeiTien Ho, and Kristofer Turdell would sweep the podium, but competition was fierce on the day. With four top 10 runs, our team has put themselves in great positions to fight for qualification for the Finals.
