During the 8-12 of February 2010 Peak Performance had the honor of sponsoring the 33rd America’s Cup.
Peak Performance developed a unique America’s Cup collection, which was used by the entire organization during the regatta in Valencia. The collection is now available in our online store.
The first America’s Cup was arranged back in 1851, making it the oldest sport trophy in the world. This time the winner from 2007, the Sociétè Nautique de Genève, had their boat Alinghi 5 challenged by the Golden Gate Yacht Club and their boat, the BMW Oracle Racing. This was the first time in the cup’s history that the two competitors were both racing 90 feet multi hull boats.
The event took place in Valencia, Spain and the winner of the three races was the BMW Oracle Racing team.
